The Byers House

Completed in 2024. Short-term rental project for Arrived. Interior renovation, furnishings, styling, and photography direction.

The Byers House project in Fayetteville, Georgia is an immersive short term rental developed for Arrived. This is the original home from Stranger Things Season 1, now transformed into a fully renovated guest experience. The interiors were completely gutted and rebuilt to function like a movie set while remaining comfortable and livable for guests.

The scope included full interior design and conceptualization. We led the project and collaborated with professionals from the film industry to bring the vision to life. Installations included sculptural elements, electrical work, and art department style details. The result is a high performing Airbnb that has gained widespread attention and has been featured in outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter.

Because we approached the design of the Byers House like a film set, we brought in industry experts like Studio Archer, who specialize in immersive experience design. Their concept illustrations of key moments inside the house acted as our creative blueprints. Since the original show interiors were filmed entirely on a soundstage, these visuals helped guide how we reimagined and adapted the spaces to feel cinematic while still functional and comfortable for real life guests.
